Holiday Board & Train
Board and Train for Holiday Travelers
Get more from holiday dog boarding—your dog comes home trained.
Planning a holiday getaway? Instead of leaving your dog at a traditional boarding facility where they’ll spend most of their time in a kennel, put that time to good use. Our holiday board and train program combines professional training with dog boarding for holidays, so your dog learns valuable skills in a comfortable home environment while you’re away visiting family or taking a well-deserved vacation.
Your dog will stay in my home—not a facility—for 10-20 days during your trip. Between training sessions, they’ll relax in the yard, lounge on dog beds, and receive plenty of one-on-one attention. This home-based setting is far less stressful than a traditional kennel and allows your dog to practice good behavior in real-world situations.
Many pet parents dread holiday dog boarding because they know their dog will just sit in a run all day. With our program, your dog comes home trained instead of stressed. You get to enjoy your trip knowing your dog is learning valuable skills in a safe, structured environment with a certified professional dog trainer and behaviorist.

What Your Dog Will Learn While You’re Away
The holidays are actually an ideal time for board and train. Unlike standard dog boarding for holidays, our program gives your dog consistent, focused attention without the interruptions of daily life. You return home to a better-behaved pet instead of a stressed-out one. Whether you’re traveling for a week or three, we’ll work on the skills that matter most to you.
Through our program, we can address:
- Basic and advanced obedience skills
- Home and leash manners
- Socialization and reactivity issues
- Potty training and barking problems
- Behavioral challenges like begging, play-biting, and food stealing
- Separation anxiety and jumping on people
- Specific behavior modification for reactivity, aggression, fear, or anxiety
Upon completion, all clients receive at least one in-home training session (included in your package). We also offer discounted 4-lesson packages that most clients choose to take advantage of. These transition sessions are crucial—it’s not enough that your dog respects me and behaves in my environment.
During these follow-up sessions, I’ll visit your home to teach you the specific techniques that worked for your dog and show you how to maintain and build upon their training. We can also meet in public places with distractions like parks, dog beaches, or restaurant patios to practice real-world skills. This ensures your dog learns to be calm, attentive, and responsive to you regardless of surroundings.
